💰 Program Details

The SHIP Purchase Assistance Program provides financial aid for:

1. Down payments and closing costs

2. Acquiring or constructing a new home

3. First-time homebuyers who meet income requirements

🏡 Maximum Award: Up to $100,000

🏠 Maximum Home Purchase Price: $568,557

📜 Loan Terms:

1. 0% interest deferred payment loan

2. Forgiven after 30 years

3. Secured by a recorded Mortgage, Promissory Note, and Declaration of Restrictions

🔑 Eligibility:

1. Must be a first-time homebuyer (as defined by HUD)

2. Cannot currently own a home

3. Cannot have liquid assets exceeding $200,000

✔ Pre-Approval Letter from a mortgage lender (Mandatory)

✔ Driver’s License or State ID for all adult household members

✔ U.S. Birth Certificate, Passport, or Permanent Resident Card

✔ Verification of Employment (VOE) or last 30 days' paycheck stubs

✔ Social Security, Retirement, or Disability Award Letter (if applicable)

✔ Proof of Child Support (if applicable)

✔ Most recent 2 years of Tax Returns + W2s/1099s

✔ Certificate of Completion for Homebuyer Education
